The Boys & Girls Clubs of Campbell County, Tennessee will serve youth from the ages of 5 years through 18.  The focus of the programs will be to enhance the life style of the small cities of LaFollette, Jacksboro and Caryville, including the unincorporated rural communities of Duff, Eagan, and various environs.  The City of Jellico is also included as the northern location is also in need of a youth center. The national organization has endowed many clubs with support through their outreach and suggested corporate non-profit status. 

Programs will include:
    *    after school tutoring
    *    lessons by college-age mentors who may request credit as in-service
        for college classes
    *    career orientation
    *    field trips to
        -    aquariums
        -    petting zoos
        -    dairy farms
        -    small manufacturing plants
        -     arboretums, nursery and horticulture farms

Students will be encouraged to focus on good manners, unselfish sharing of family history through:
    *    story telling
    *    computer lab research
    *    recipe collections
    *    faith-based histories
    *    language lessons for new immigrants
    *    sports with competitive success with emphasis on sportsmanship conduct

When available, volunteer parents will address issues taught with caring and support, addressing needs in the communities as to:
    *    health
    *    good nutrition
    *    value-based budgeting
    *    successful learning of choices in abstinence
    *    drug-free lifestyle

These programs will be gradually incepted with featured speakers, art-project contests, awards in school improvement focusing on:
    *    citizenship
    *    brotherhood tolerance
    *    historical research and rural lifestyle safety issues

Facilities will be used in an after-school program wherein supervision given by staff and volunteers will allow children to be in a place of hope and safety while awaiting parents to return from work, rather than young people be unsupervised or allowed to be in situations not healthy for well-being or productive living.

Corporate sponsors will be asked to support programs and allow their employees a few hours of giving time while employed to share professional expertise and community leadership mentoring.
